Showdown

I'm an avid Showdown player. Showdown is played blindfolded on a table with raised sidewalls and a goal at each end. A screen runs across the middle, high enough for the ball to pass underneath. The ball is filled with ball bearings and rattles, so you track it by ear. You strike it with a bat and try to get it into the opponent's goal while defending your own. Everyone wears a blindfold, so sighted players can play too.

I play for BVSV Nürnberg and compete at tournament level. Showdown is classified internationally by IBSA.
